Born on September 30,1207 in the eastern edge of the Persian empire, was Master Jalaloddin Rumi, who has debatably become the world’s most renowned mystical poet.
Although he now rests in Konya, Turkey, where he’s visited by thousands each month, his art has only grown in people’s heart with its rich universal themes of the power of love and the undying human soul.
“There is a soul
Within your soul
Seek it out
There is a treasure
In your mountain
Seek it out
A mystic in motion
If that’s what you are
Don’t seek out there
Seek inside”
